Celebrate fall that blend warm spices, cider, pumpkin, pear, and bourbon. These drinks are perfect for chilly nights, festive gatherings, and everything in between.
As the air turns crisp and the leaves crunch beneath our boots, there’s something magical about fall that no other season can quite match. It’s not just the cozy sweaters or the smell of bonfires in the distance — it’s the feeling of slowing down, getting together, and savoring the moment.
At The Drinkers Choice Club, fall is one of our favorite times to craft drinks that warm you from the inside out. Whether you’re hosting a small get-together, planning a spooky movie night, or just curled up with a good book, these fall cocktails are the perfect seasonal sips to elevate your autumn vibes.
Let’s get into the five fall favorites that bring the flavors of the season straight to your glass!
The starting lineup for our 5 cozy fall cocktails...
1. Spiced Apple Cider Margarita
A margarita in the fall? You bet. This version swaps out citrus for spiced cider, making it the perfect transitional cocktail as summer fades into sweater weather.

Ingredients:
2 oz tequila (reposado recommended)
2 oz apple cider
1 oz triple sec
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
Cinnamon sugar (for rimming)
Apple slice & cinnamon stick (optional garnish)
Directions:
Rim your glass with lime juice, then dip in cinnamon sugar.
In a shaker, combine tequila, cider, triple sec, and lime juice with ice.
Shake well and strain over fresh ice.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick and apple slice.
Did you know: Hard cider was the most popular alcoholic beverage in early colonial America. Today, fresh apple cider gives cocktails a tart, spiced upgrade that feels like fall in a glass.
2. Pumpkin Pie Martini

If fall had a mascot, it’d be pumpkin spice. This creamy martini is like sipping your favorite pie — no fork required.
Ingredients:
2 oz vanilla vodka
1 oz Irish cream liqueur
1 oz pumpkin purée (not pumpkin pie filling)
1/2 oz maple syrup
1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Crushed graham crackers (for rimming)
Directions:
Rim a martini glass with syrup and crushed graham crackers.
Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake until chilled.
Strain into the prepared glass and dust with pumpkin pie spice.
Did you know: The Pumpkin Spice Latte launched in 2003 — and sparked a whole cultural moment. Now, bartenders have embraced the trend with everything from pumpkin sours to creamy dessert martinis like this one.
3. Cinnamon Maple Old Fashioned

Rich, warming, and simple — this seasonal twist on the classic Old Fashioned is all about depth and comfort.
Ingredients:
2 oz bourbon
1/2 oz pure maple syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 cinnamon stick
Orange peel (garnish)
Directions:
Combine bourbon, maple syrup, and bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
Stir well and strain into a rocks glass with a large cube.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick and an expressed orange peel.
Fun Fact: The Old Fashioned has been a bar staple since the 1800s. This version swaps the sugar cube for maple syrup, giving it a richer, woodsy flavor that fits right in with fall foliage and fireplace nights.
4. Spiced Pear Bourbon Sour

This cozy and elegant cocktail combines the warmth of bourbon with the subtle sweetness of pear and fall spices. It’s the kind of drink that makes you want to wrap yourself in a blanket and watch the leaves fall.
Ingredients:
2 oz bourbon
1 oz pear nectar or juice
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz cinnamon simple syrup
Dash of ground nutmeg (optional garnish)
Pear slice (for garnish)
Directions:
Add bourbon, pear nectar, lemon juice, and cinnamon syrup to a shaker with ice.
Shake until well chilled, then strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
Garnish with a pear slice and a pinch of nutmeg if desired.
Did you know: Bourbon and pear make an unexpectedly perfect match. Pear's gentle sweetness softens the bourbon’s boldness, while the cinnamon adds just enough spice to make it feel like fall. It’s the ideal balance of strong and smooth - just like the season itself.
5. Boozy Chai White Russian

This one’s for the cozy souls. It’s creamy, spiced, and dangerously sippable - like a chai latte with a kick.
Ingredients:
2 oz vodka
1 oz Kahlúa or coffee liqueur
2 oz chai concentrate or strong chai tea (cooled)
1 oz heavy cream
Directions:
Fill a rocks glass with ice.
Add vodka, chai, and Kahlúa. Stir gently.
Float heavy cream over the top and stir before drinking.
Did you know: The original White Russian rose to cult status after The Big Lebowski hit theaters in 1998. This spicy version adds chai tea — full of cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom, making it a cozy cocktail that’s practically made for autumn.
Fall is the season of transitions — of letting go and leaning into comfort. These cocktails are more than just drinks — they’re an invitation to slow down, savor the moment, and raise a glass to the beauty of change.
